How does he loathe thee? Let me count the ways. LOL. My husband HATES my “crunchy flowers” as he calls them and well, I don’t really care. I find my dried hydrangea flowers to be useful in various scenarios throughout my home. Need some texture in a little corner or some life on your desk? They are somewhere between beautiful fresh flowers that will die and artificial flowers that often look a tad cheesy.
I’m still not exactly sure how to properly dry hydrangea flowers once you cut them (find another blog for that tidbit), but I guess I’ve lucked out a few times and for the most part they dried into nice full flowers with interesting colors. Here are a few ways I’ve used dried hydrangea flowers to style my house…in a box, in a jar, in a house, with a mouse…you get the point!
